Aditya College of Engineering and Technology ensures a healthy and pleasant learning environment for the students. Newly entered students are protected by the institution from the threat of ragging.
Ragging in the college is absolutely banned and, hence, any student found indulging in an act of ragging shall meet strict disciplinary action, which may include immediate rustication from the college apart from criminal consequences. Our Institute has constituted an Anti-Ragging Cell in this regard. The cell is headed by Head of the institution, along with several senior faculties as members of the committee. Anti-Ragging members and Bus In charges have been delegated from all departments to constantly monitor the students behavior both on and off the campus.
Ragging is defined as: Any disorderly behavior whether expressed verbally or in written or by an act that has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness any other student, or engaging in rowdy or indiscipline activities which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or any other student or asking the student to do any act or perform something which such student will not do in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment in such a that it has a negative impact a fresher's or any other student's physique.

To develop self-confidence and establish a supportive environment among the newly admitted students by conducting frequent interactive sessions to address questions about academics, social interaction, and compatibility.
The convener submits a report to the Principal for any appropriate disciplinary action based on first-hand information and prima facie evidence. If the accused is found guilty, severe punishment will be recommended.
Faculty members are stationed at various locations inside the college campus to monitor student activities. Members ensure that no student groups are formed, and if they do, the group is dispersed to avoid any nuisance. The incidents of ragging that occurred in the college premises along with actions taken should be displayed at several locations to make students aware of the administration's seriousness in preventing ragging. Upon receiving a complaint, conduct an investigation and identify the culprits.
The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, has taken a serious view of ragging incidents in educational institutions and has issued Notification No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 25-03-2009 in response to the Honorable Supreme Court of India's Order dated 16.5.2007, which has ordered strict implementation of the following rules and regulations for the prevention and prohibition of ragging in technical institutions.
