R&D and Publication Committee
About
Research & Development Cell aims at encouraging faculty and students to inculcate research culture in the Institution. R&D provides platform for research activities mainly major/minor research projects, funded projects, publications, patents and consultancy
- The R&D Cell encourages faculty and students to uplift their knowledge levels in writing research papers, filing patents, applying funded projects and improving skills in developing research methodologies.
- Incentives will be given to faculty for publications/books/book chapters/patents/sanctioned projects/consultancy activities.,
- The research caliber of each faculty/department is computed based on their research accomplishments and activities for inspiring young researchers
- Full/Partial financial support is given to all innovative research & development works taken up by the faculty members
- The college encourages the faculty to participate in National/International Conferences, Training programs, Tech-Festivals organized by reputed institutes (NIPERs/IITs/NITs/State Pharmacy Colleges) and similar by giving full/partial financial support viz. course/registration fee, TA/DA etc.
Roles and responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities of Chairman :
- The Publication Committee promotes teachers and students to increase their proficiency in producing research articles, newsletters, patent applications, financed projects, and research methodology development.
- The committee supports faculty participation in national and international conferences, training programmes, workshops, and similar events by providing full or partial financial support.
- The publication committee encourages teachers and students to publish their major and minor research findings in journals that have been accepted by the UGC and are indexed by SCOPUS, WOS, etc.
- The publication committee offers research rewards in form of incentives for publications in various scientific journals that are indexed by SCI, SCOPUS, WOS, etc. Incentives are also provided for publishing textbooks, patents, funded projects and grants.
- The committee checks for plagiarism and makes sure that no substandard articles are published.
- The committee collects and maintain the record of the research paper publications department wise.
